"Ben has a great attitude and will bring a lot of energy to the room.  He has a team first approach and is committed to help this team be successful.  It is great to add South Dakota kids to our program and we are excited to have Ben here at NSU."
Tyler is a college transfer from Muskegon Community College. For the Jayhawks, Stenberg wrestled to a record of 47-13 overall and 12-2 in dual action. As a freshmen, Tyler earned All-American status at 149 pounds, finishing sixth in the nation. He then went on to go 31-7 as a sophomore, with nine falls and a national tournament appearance. Tyler continues to hold school records at Reeths Puffer High School for best freshmen records and most three-point near falls. He finished high school with a 155-22 record and 88 career pins. Stenberg was All-State his final two seasons, finishing fifth at 130 pounds and third at 140 pounds.
    Coach Burkett on Stenberg
"Tyler is a big addition to our team.  He has had success at the college level and will bring a lot of experience into our room.  He puts up a lot of points which will help us be competitive in duals and in tournaments.
