Playoffs- 9-Man West River 1st Round Predictions

Looking forward to the playoffs, I will be predicting the outcome of all West River 9-man schools.

Elkton-Lake Benton (3-5) at White River (6-2)- Long trip for E/LB, White River has tons of talent and they will be putting on a scoring spree tonight.  White River 55 over ELB 22

Newell (4-4) at Gettysburg/Hoven (5-3) - Gettysburg will have little to no trouble with the Irrigators.  Gettysburg 62 over Newell 12

Lyman (5-3) at Wall (8-0)- For the 2nd straight week these two teams will be facing one another.  I am not sure if that's a good thing or not for the Eagles.  Lyman seemed to figure out Wall in the later part of the last matchup and mounted a good comeback attempt.  This game will be very close. Wall 32 over Lyman 30

Herreid/Selby (5-3) at Faith (7-1)- Coming off their 1st loss, Faith looks to rebound.  Faith got taken over in the 2nd half against the Ranchers (33 point difference) and I believe H/S will do the same.  Herreid/Selby 40 over Faith 30

Colome (5-3) at Harding County (7-1)- Colome has been battle tested all season long and look to pull the upset over the Ranchers.  HC looked dominate over Faith and should be able to carry that momentum into a hard fought game against the Cowboys.  HCHS 30 over Colome 22

Jones County (5-3) at Dupree (6-2)- This game should be very interesting.  These two teams are headed in opposite directions.  JC started out rolling their competition this year and have faded as of late.  Dupree started out 0-2 losing to the Rancher and Longhorns but are now on a 6 game winning streak.  This game could go either way.  Dupree 28 over JC 26
