    Lady 'Rockers Offering Summer Camps Throughout June

    RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota School of Mines women's basketball program will be offering several camps this summer at the King Center in Rapid City, S.D. The Lady Hardrockers will be holding a team camp June 9-10; an individual skills camp June 12-14; a Fun-Damentals Camp June 12-14; and a team camp June 28-29.

    The two team camps are for varsity and junior varsity girls' teams. The cost is $200 per team for one day (guaranteed three games) or $325 for two days (guaranteed five games). There are several divisions based on skill level.

    The individual skills camp is for girls in grades 6-9 and its primary focus is to improve each player's abilities. Campers are grouped by age and are taught both offensive and defensive skills that will challenge them to become better basketball players. The camp fee is $75.

    The Fun-Damentals camp is for girls in grades 3-5 and the camp fee is $50. The camp is offered to young players that are just beginning their basketball careers. Campers will receive instruction based on their experience and will enjoy playing fun games and learning new skills.
