Weekly Notes: Goedert played in 17 offensive snaps and 12 special teams plays during the team's first game back from a bye vs. the Dallas Cowboys, a 27-20 loss.

The SDSU alum did not have a target from QB Carson Wentz's 44 pass attempts, but did record a special teams tackle on a punt in the first quarter, holding the 39-yard punt at Dallas' 16-yard line for no gain on the return.

Up Next: At New Orleans Saints (Sunday, Nov. 18 at 3:25 p.m. CT)

Season Notes: Caught his first TD of his NFL career against the Indianapolis Colts (Sept. 23) on a 13-yard throw behind the linebackers - Goedert ran up the right seam and settled behind the secondary ... also added his most yards (73), catches (7), and targets (7) in the game vs. the Colts ... career-long is vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars (Oct. 28) - a 32-yard grab on a play-action route that wheeled Goedert up the backside of the play en route to juke a defender and rumble into the end zone (third TD of the season, back-to-back games with a TD reception) ... nearly grabbed his first career pass as a touchdown in the first game of the NFL regular season (vs. Falcons, Sept. 6) - 19-yard pass attempt down the right sideline where Goedert caught it but was only able to get one foot in the end zone ... recorded his first career catch in the third quarter, a four-yard grab against the Falcons (Sept. 6) ... added his second TD of the season vs. the Carolina Panthers (Oct. 21) on a one-yard flag route that he cut short because the defender over-ran the route - nearly scored a few plays earlier on what would have been a 12 yard TD in the middle of the end zone but the ball was knocked out of his hands in tight coverage ... has played 191 offensive snaps (75 special teams) and has had 21 targets for 18 catches (15th most among rookies) and 188 yards (16th among rookies) and three touchdowns (tied for third among rookies) through nine games ... 2018 Preseason: scored his first touchdown in his debut preseason game, a 31-14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers (Aug. 9) ... his most catches (four) and receiving yards (66) came in his preseason debut against the Steelers while his longest catch (28) came against the New England Patriots (Aug. 16) ... has gathered nine catches for 149 yards and one touchdown through three preseason games (132 offensive plays).

Adam Vinatieri (Indianapolis Colts) SDSU: 1991-94
Weekly Notes: Vinatieri went three-for-three on extra-point attempts in the 29-26 win over the divisional rival Jacksonville Jaguars after a bye week.

The Colts scored touchdowns on four of their first five possessions - all in the first half - with Vinatieri kicking the point-after on three of them and going for two on the last touchdown to increase the lead from 15 to 16 points.

That is all the points Indy managed to score, which was just enough as the Jaguars scored 26 points, making it a three-point game, before Vinatieri's 52-yard kick missed wide right with 2:53 left in the game. Jacksonville took the ball from their own 42-yard line to Indianapolis' 23-yard line before replay officials called a fumble that one of the Colts' defenders recovered to seal the victory.
