    Region 8A--Boys Championship--Listen Live Tonight at 6:45 p.m. MST

The truth of west river basketball is on hand tonight at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.  The Custer Wildcats and the St. Thomas More Cavaliers will answer the question we have all been asking this year.......who will come out of region 8.  Please join Nate Brown and myself as we cover this matchup.

I have 2 ways to think about this game.

    1.  Will the game be similar to the last time they played where STM dominated from start-to-finish?

    2.  How much emphasis can I put on how each team played in their district championship games?

I am also wondering how much of an impact the big Civic Center floor will have.  Every one of the "Cats" is very quick and fast.  I can't help but think this will benefit them over the bigger cavaliers.

So basically what I'm telling you is I can't really give the edge to either of these teams.  Maybe I'm just not smart enough to figure it out.  I invite you to log on and chat with me during the game.  I will be doing the color on this game, so I will have time to reply to you questions or comments.

I'm not even sure who I want to win. It's been a while since Custer made it to the state tournament, but St. Thomas More hasn't won as many championships. I guess Custer wound be considered the underdog, so I'll pick them.

In a matchup that\'s to close to call, give the edge to coaching. Larry Legend finds a way to get back to the dance.

      1. the Legend Says:

Yes, coaching is a big factor. Go Cats.

    3. HutchHobo Says:

If Custer can win the rubber match then the State A's are gonna be wide open!

    4. sumoron Says:

As a CHS alumn would love to see Wildcats win. STM has too much inside for Custer though.

    5. Me Says:

      Well STM took it 58-23
