VB - Lyman Bested By Kimball/White Lake

PRESHO, SD - The Kimball/White Lake WildKats (12-6) were led by Haley Pazour's 11 kills and Mary Kroupa's 34 assists as they beat Lyman, 3-0, on Saturday night.

Head coach Jill Whalen was disappointed with the teams energy on the night. "We lost this game because we were playing slow and had a lack of intensity," Whalen stated.

The Raiders just couldn't seem to get things going against a solid WildKat team. Lyman was led by Anna Flitner with 12 kills. Jessica Welter had 2 aces.

Lyman (18-7) doesn't have any time to dwell on the loss though as rival Jones County will come to town on the Tuesday. The Coyotes are currently sitting second in District 13, right behind the Raiders. Whalen said that Jones County is a tough team because they play at a fast pace, never quit on a ball, and they let you make the mistake. "They do all of these things constantly and that makes them tough to beat," said Whalen.
